Redesign of website
The legacy NGT site was built in the E107 content management system (CMS). The CMS was not a bad system. However, it lacked the modern flexibility and functionality of Wordpress, for example. Further, the legacy E107 system required workarounds and coding using php and jquery. Once redesigned and moved over to Wordpress, the NGT News site became easy to customize. Most importantly, the company was able to unveil a responsive- and modern - CMS.
